Ted Kaczynski, Unabomber, Found Dead in Prison Cell

Notorious unabomber ted kaczynski was found dead in a prison cell Saturday morning. he was 81.

Kaczynski was sentenced to eight consecutive life sentences for a series of mail bombings between 1978 and 1995 which killed three people and injured 23 others, he was arrested in 1996 after a chase of 17 years.

According to federal prison officials kaczynski’s body was found unresponsive in a cell at federal medical center in butner north carolina at approximately 12:25 p.m, he was declared dead at the local hospital.

The cause of death is still unknown, but authorities said it did not appear to be suspicious.

Kaczynski was a harvard-educated mathematician who became increasingly isolated and disenchanted with modern society, He believed that technology was destroying human freedom and that violence was the only way to stop it.

In 1995, Kaczenski sent a 35,000 word manifesto to The New York Times and The Washington post, In the Manifesto, he referred to himself as “The Unbomber” and outlined his philosophy.

A declaration was issued and Kaczynski was eventually confirmed by his brother, He was arrested without incident at his cabin in Montana.

Kaczynski pled guilty to all charges in 1998 and was sentenced to serve eight consecutive years in prison without the possibility of parole.

He died in the prison on Saturday morning.
