The Mike Tyson biographical film project is being delayed due to the ongoing health problems of Hollywood star Jamie Foxx. Reportedly, actor Tyson was the favorite to play Tyson in the biographical television series to be executive produced by Foxx, Antoine Fuqua and Martin Scorsese. In a recent episode of the “Valuetainment” podcast, host Patrick Bett-David discussed the health of Tyson and Jamie.

During the discussion, Mike hints that Jamie should play him in his biopic. He said, “Well, there was a possibility. I don’t know what will happen now. But, you know, it’s very likely. You know, Jamie is closer to my age, so to play him, they [the movie] tried to do something like Benjamin Button. They will make him look young.
Mike also said he had no idea about Jamie’s current health status and talked to the host about the unpredictability of life. They said, “Listen, we can’t predict the next breath. We don’t know when we will die. Something bad could happen after we leave.” Also, Mike said of Jamie’s health update, “If we don’t know by now, they don’t want us to know.”

On April 11, the Academy Award-winning actor experienced an undisclosed emergency. His daughter, Corinne, took to Instagram on April 12 to confirm that her father had “experienced medical complications” the previous day. They also wrote, “We know how much he loves us and we appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Actor Ray was in Atlanta to shoot for the Netflix film Back in Action, which also stars Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close. The film is directed by Seth Gordon, director of Foxx’s Horrible Bosses.
