Authorities Probe Texas Mall Shooter’s Possible Links To White Supremacy

A law enforcement official familiar with the investigation said authorities are probing whether the Texas shooter had ties to white supremacist ideology after a series of killings at a suburban Dallas mall on Saturday.

Authorities said the suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia. Eight people are dead and seven others are injured after a police shooting is suspected at Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Texas. According to authorities, he used an AR-15 style rifle in the attack and several other firearms were recovered from the scene.
